A bit of background

As someone who was raised in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University, I feel a strong sense of pride when I can add to the growth of my community. I began my professional career working in state government and politics. I served as a Legislative Aide for the Ohio House of Representatives, held roles with the Ohio Board of Regents and worked on a political campaign. I enjoyed my time working in public service but knew there was more I wanted to do outside of the political world.

That jump led me to the professional environment that I truly love, non-profits. I’ve had the great privilege to be a part of the highly talented fundraising teams at YWCA Columbus, COSI and the Columbus Metropolitan Library. In my roles at those organization, I’ve managed the fundraising data in Raiser’s Edge, created prospect management plans, created prospect research profiles and managed organization financial processes and served as onsite lead for financial audits.

I currently live in Hilliard with my partner Kevin and our very spoiled dog, Noodle.
